bought truck a week ago. drove it every since up until today. it broke down on side of road. it just died. got it towed home. thought it was fuel pump but heard it come on. my three year old turned key on while i was under truck. lol. battery is still srtong. truck also has new plug wires and cap and rotor. any suggestions?

How did it die....completely and quickly or a slow puttering death?

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
motor out of an 02 model, 4.3l v6 vortec. 5 speed. died suddenly
did it just turn off or did it clunk or what?
worked on it tonight. found out that th injecters where bad. as i was trying to crank it, the injectors were just dripping instead of spraying. had a set of injectors on hand and tried them but found out quickly they were for a 350. i have a v6. so i was flooding it out with those. tommorrow i will get the right injectors and that should fix the problem. thx folks.
