GM and Chinese partner Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation--SAIC has been working for a while on a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission for FWD only... for now.

I would have figured that GM's first Dual Clutch Tranny, and one with 7 forward gears would have gotten better reaction. These types of trannies goes hand-in-hand with a turbo engine. As much as I love a manual tranny, if this goes in lets say in a Corvette or Camaro, ET will drop.
