Very nice. I was looking at buying one but then found out that the insurance for me would have been around 400 a month. Then got a STEAL on my SS/SC. Post pics and can't wait to see it with the drop.
I've been told the 1.8t's are the worst GTi's in the entire history of the line. I don't know anything about them really but everyone holds the VR6's in much higher regard. I think they look awesome either way though.

The only problem I've heard with the 1.8 is that the secondary air pump goes bad fast. I absolutely love it though.

I owned both a 1.8 GTi and a VR6. Both were huge pain in the asses but the 1.8 was seriously mediocre.
I've read that 99-02 have electronic probs out the ass...
Btw I have stock body for 98 sunfire se and a hood with scoop that needs some work and a set of primed sideskirts to whoever wants to drive to Greensburg area... No charge

hahah i have me a 2000 1.8 passat..... and yes, the SAIP (sec. air pump) sucks balls.... but WORLDS better than the J... (RIP< still miss J's at times)
