i was wondering the same thing.
My guess is traction and not getting kicked off the track.
FU Tuning
why make so much power if you can't use it?
throw some real tires on it, cage it, and see what it can do.. jeez, at least TRY to launch it.... c'mon =\

RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...

I'd love to see what it would do with full slicks.

I was gonna say, that second video, he shot from 1/8th to 1/4 like a rocket. Once the turbo's got spinning. Any idea what size turbo's they are? Friend of mine has a TT WS6, and is thinking of going 76mm's to put down better numbers than his 1000hp pull he had as well as the 9.5xx passes he's made.
Truly my dream car right there, ugh!!
Holy fu¢k!!!! This car is perfect.
Very Cool, that car is awesome!!
This was going to be my next project, but with an LS2. Problem is Rx-7's are too expensive to buy and so are LS2's...
So I'm going in a slightly different direction.....but I'll always have a huge soft spot for Jap RWD cars powered by GM V8's.
Tell your buddy he is living the dream.
This car looks great, but honestly its your photography that makes the difference in the pics to me, and we even have the same camera and I cant take pics like that at all, even in post. I would love to see you get some shots like that of the GTP, or Cav., or both! Great job

pics look great
the best thing to ever happen to that gen RX7 was the LSx swap.
Thanks everyone, glad everyone likes the car/my photos it seems lol

ding ding. wiener. it was also the first time the car was out, so was being very cautious.. good thing too because first night on the dyno he destroyed a yoke on his drive shaft.. local drive train shop came out, got him all fixed up and then he put the 911 down.

he knew he was going to have no luck so why risk causing issues. he is still in the fine tuning stage, just had to get it out this year. he has been working on it for 3yrs now.

Thanks man, but im pretty sure they are just aftermarket rims, not mustang. don't know what the logo on them means though, never seen it before.
They're a Mustang wheel rep of some variety I too believe, and they look great!
I wonder how Toretto feels about this.
lol, 2.8 60ft time, and a 12.5 1/4 mile.
f$%&in' sweet. I actually prefer the stock flip up headlights though.
Why does it look like he has an oil cooler next to the rear passenger side tire?
