Replaced the Cooling Fan Relay in my friends Saturn SC2 today and now it wont start. any ideas? it wont even turn over.
start with the basics, does it have power? does the battery have 12 volts are any other fuses bad? did you forget to plug something in?
it has power, every thing on the interior works and i can hear the ignition and fuel pump kick on. the starter does not turn over. the battery is brand new as of 2 days ago. all i did was unplug the old relay, and replaced it with an identical looking new one.
My wife had a 2001 Saturn Sc2. The starter died right after replacing the battery.

turns out the battery was completely drained. now i just have to figure out why. Alternator tested fine when i took it to autozone, but the battery light is on in the dash anytime im under 2500rpm.
Check all your cables and make sure the contacts are nice and clean, especially the one going between the starter and the alternator. Make sure the battery cable behind the battery box ia also making good contact, and the ground cables right above your transmission.
They those cars eat up batter cables.
