Mill was being used so i tried cutting out a ring by hand. Did pretty good
Bump!!! This project is sooooo sick, update!
love the tubing bender. lol
those last two pics where messed up.
lately i have been riding when i should be DW
Ugh. Loving it so far. can't wait to see MOAR.
i would really like to see you move the whole tail section lower. i think it would make the bike more proportional. to me it seems like the rear tires is just way out there. love the carbon fiber and would love to do a custom build like this.

It would look gay if i lower it.
You are seeing it with out sag or the 200 lb engine in.
I keep opening this post when there's a new reply, hoping for pics. But there aren't. Get the @!#$ on it!

final coat on the tank
started wrapping the fender.
should have the engine buttoned up and painted soon.
frame is still in clean up. Going over with tig, then filler and prime/paint
i wanna ride this thing so damn bad
Really cool build!
Could always have someone airbrush in some shading to lessen up the seams with the carbon fiber as well, depending on how far you're taking it.
the scallops will hide the seams.
I also had some crazy idea. Around the red i was planning on pinstriping with white by hand, BUT my dad suggested silver leaf
any thoughts? i think it would look cool as hell.
speaking of air brush, i haven't picked one up in a few years. I've always had a cheap harbor freight, a passache airbrush, and an iwata dual action. I've painted cars professionally since i was 17, but never really did alot of airbrush.
hopefully i'll find some old pics of my real fire test panels
Damn I wish I knew how to do all that....
