Thought I'd start a progress thread now that I'm making real progress.

RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
They're quiet, and adjusting the dampening only a few clicks changes these things dramatically. I didn't think the 30 dampening adjustment settings would be that useful but i like it so far. We dropped the back and when we lowered the jack I was tucking most of the tire....TOO LOW. When we were loosening the wheel lugs to raise the coils, my locking lug key stripped
Had to drive all the way to the Subaru dealer to use their master key. The guy at the dealer thought I had dead bodies in the trunk.

i want to see someone do a saab front end on a suby sedan
A car I love so much... and such a capable platform.... slam it to the ground for looks. I never understood it. Car doesn't look bad, it's just capable of such great things if you installed and tuned the suspension for performance instead of looks and bumper damage.

oh, trust us, we know
subies can still perform VERY well slammed..
A suspension tuned for handling takes time, measurement, practice etc... Slamming a car to the ground is NOT how to get optimal performance whether people think so or not. Again, I am not against how good it looks on that car, but I just hate seeing capable vehicles built for looks that deter their capability lol. It's like having a nice independent rear suspension swap on a J body and a turbo'd motor just to stretch the tires, slam it too low to drive, and "look cool".

oh, trust us, we know
thats true. but the average person will never drive their car or even have a reason to do so to its full potential. drive slow and be seen! lol
i so want to do the saab front end on mine. what did you give for the coils?
I just love Subbies!!! This one even more!
Aren't you in GA? I swore the Cavy had GA plates on it, and I just saw a ATL craigslist ad for a 240 with the Subie and Cavy in the background, lol. Love the new pictures, the car looks great man!

Lol, thanks. Pictures turned out better than I thought they would. Car is in GA. It's registered in VA right now. The ad you saw was my friend Trevor's 240sx. He is trying to get rid of it and find something a little more DD-able, he just happened to be in my driveway when he snapped the pictures.

Ive hit my fair share of bumps/craters with them and they are still riding as well as they did on day one. No strange noises etc. (Knock on wood) Rear camber plates are going on when I get the fenders rolled this week hopefully, so I'll be able to get a good look at the rears.
