Sold my civic, picked this up to DD while I decide on a new project.

Ford tuned the suspension on these P71's very well, it handles nicely on the Goodyear RSA tires its on and while it feels like a 4000lb car, the 4.6l V8 feels right for it, its not fast by any means, but the torque is nice for city driving and the mileage isnt as bad as you'd think, and the tank isnt huge either. It also is FlexFuel E85 compatible which is a nice option.
What's the gas mileage on one of those?
"big boom big boom"-Adam Savage. "quack damn you"-Jamie Hyneman "mythbusters"
What always got me about these cars is how they cruise so nice at high speeds.

I always wanted to make a lifted winter beater out of one.

I like it a lot. I almost thought about looking for a really cheap one but never got around to it.
Looking good. It's too bad you have the spotlight sticking throught the A pillar, because otherwise it's very clean.
I love the Marauder wheels on it. A properly done tint on the remaining red of the tails would finsh the back pretty nicely.

I plan on deleting the spotlight, about to get a new fresh uncut white bumper with no license plate holder, Once I have the new bumper a Mustang Mach 1 lip is going on, Marauder headlights going on. 1.5 or 2" Drop. Taking off the plastidip, tinting the tail lights and then re-doing the white top cover on them.
The wheels are actually 05+ Mustang GT 18x8.5 Wheels, I got em for a steal.
I see your doing some upgrades and changes.I would have just gone with some new carpet really! I have bought reproduction carpets from
http://www.accmats.com for the cost for the NEWness is super.I redid my nephews 98 accord back in 2010 and super solid. It is a cut to fit deal but, not hard to do over cleaning and using any carpet used out of a junker imo.Either way just a share and have been watching your post on the changes.
