i just sent him this link, but i told him i cannot afford the insurance. my insurance company changed policy today (how about that @!#$, eh?) and because of my accident, they cannot cover me. i have to be referred to progressive, which is a big rip-off.
i even offered to pay for the listing if he "can't" cancel it
You can retract your bid. The Wankel has a bad rep because it uses oil to the tune of a quart per 1,000 miles as it sprays oil mist on the inside of the rotors for cooling and lubrication purposes. A lot of people let the oil run low and the apex seals go out. Another malady is if you let the car sit the engine tends to literally get stuck. I had this happen a few times in my '82, a little marvel mystery oil and a breaker bar and it ran just like nothing had ever happened. I junked it with 288,000 miles on it still running. The engine swap possibilities are nearly endless, a great place to look is

dude...why'd you junk it? i know a bunch of people who'd have gone for an FB, some who would be willing to have it transported - ESPECIALLY if it ran.
