I have a 2006 saturn ion with the 2.2 eco and i am putting a turbo on it and a ms-2 v.3 and it has the hook upi for the stepper iac on it but i have been looking everywhere and i cannot find the iac on my engine does it even have one? thanks
What do you think give it a shot if it doesn't work change my tb to a manual one with a iac?
You can try, but there's no way for the MS to control the idle without an IAC, and on top of that, your pedal position sensor sends a signal to your ECU to tell it how far to open the throttle body, so you can't do away with your ECU (and for other reasons). You might be able to piggy back them together, but since the idle control is an important part of the MS, its going to be extremely difficult to get it to work.
