I heard about this Predator tuner... is the HPTuner better than the predator tuner?

My friend has a 04 vette and he has the predator tuner, will HPTuner work better for him?

seems like the predator is just a flash-n-go programmer.

if he wants to be able to tune his car the way way he wants, HPT would be better.

not to mention for the V8s, the possibilities with HPT are almost endless

The Predator is a flash and go programmer that does allow some amount of custom tuning.
It allows changes like; +/- % of fuel, +/- degrees of timing, +/- tire size, +/- idle rpm... etc.
And if the ranges they give you are not enough, they will send you a custom tune that bumps you into the next range.


But the don't, haven't, and will not offer support for J-bodies. So they don't have a product that can be compared for us.
