Transfer an HPT file?
Friday, August 24, 2007 1:02 AM
Maybe the title is a little off. But lets say someone has a tune for an ecotec with cobalt injectors and turbo tuned to say 8-10psi and a 1bar MAP. Would it be possibal to transfer that tune from one PC to another if both have HPT then place that fine in another car?

Sorry for the stupid ?

Its just a file, you can transfer it like any other file, through email, flash disk, network, whatever you want. You don't even need HPT to have the file on your computer (but you can't do much with the HPT file if you don't).

Sure, you will just have to purchase or use credits to license that file, unless its the same year and you get a year/model license.

or you can just copy and paste the values without licensing the file
