Just curious as to how much time you guys have spent tuning your cars?
To make a car run ok and safe , it takes me about an hour.
To make a car run perfect, you can never be done. Even from the factory they say that tuning is never done, rather you just run out of time.
But I will usually spend a few weeks till I feel the car is as good as it can get on a major overall scale.
All of the Js I have been involved with have really only gotten the quick initial hour tune (on my side) so far.

It always going to need a tweak here and there. The weather plays a major role in the tune, so with constantly changing weather it makes it hard to get a "perfect" tune.
I generally spend an hour or so on street tune, then a few on the dyno (cool down / time for flashing included) Todd is right though, you are never "done", just satisfied for the moment...

Great point. Currently I have about 20 minutes invested. I have only made really small changes at this time. Waiting for dyno time.
FU Tuning
I've got probably hundreds of hours of datalogging into my own cars. I'll go for long, long drives recording all sorts of conditions, then I'll just bury myself in evaluating the data looking for something to improve. Tuning can be endless, especially when you have the ability to alter code as well as calibration variables. I've made it a bit of a specialty when tuning vehicles for others to tune for driveability as well as power. A 1 hr tune is fairly rare for me. I generally get involved in projects which require at least several hours of tuning to make 'em run decent. But it's become more of a hobby for me these days so I seem to end up doing work for a different clientele than in the past. In fact there are several customers who seem to call me one or two times a year and ask for "fresh" tunes after making changes.
-->Slow
At least 5-6 hours over about 6 months and thats not even with any VE work, I spend alot of time looking over logs
