I have built the head of my eco so it can rev higher so I am trying to figure how to tune above 7000rpm in HP Tuners. Can someone please hook me up with a screen shot step-by-step of how to increase my PE/VE table to 8000rpm. I would really appreciate it.
Thank you.

cant do it. sorry to say.
Because this software allows you to alter the factory tables, you are restricted to staying within the factory tables.

So does the computer just use the info from the last rpm row if it has nothing to reference? If so I can work with that. I will be at full boost and the TPS will still be at 100%. Then use my fake 3bar to tune timing to get it just right.
I know HPT lets me set the Fuel RPM limiter to 8195rpm and the spark is set out to some ridiculous 63,000rpm before that stops. Except with factory cams I don't expect to make much more power past 7000rpms anyway. But when I put it on the dyno I am going to find out how much more.
Is my first point spot on or will the car just fall on its face past 6400rpm?

Yes, you sort of extrapolate the fuel curve and set it to where you think it should be at whatever you set your reserve to. It's not perfect, but better than nothing by a fair shot.

1 soulution, the PCM is good for 7k no more than that, and as far as boost more than 10psi its really touchy, theres only one real answer
STAND ALONE

I guess I will have to pm a couple of people to see how they are doing it. Stand Alone is not cost effective for me. Besides I don't even know which stand alone works with our car.

lol
...In a sense, none of them do, and at the same time all of them do. I guess it depends on your defenition of "works with." Are there any that are PnP...for the ECO, there may be a couple fairly pricey ones. Otherwise, it mostly just requires rewiring. The most popular standalone for J-body owners is either Megasquirt or MS-II (since we tend to be cheap bastards).

"Youth in Asia"...I don't see anything wrong with that.
Yeah I quickly looked at the Megasquirt. I liked the fact that it allows for 20psi. That is about all I would ever push. I figure if I pick up the MS and HPT that I already have I can do all kinds of cool things. I will have have to read on to learn more. The nice thing would be to get rid of all the CELs that MS would create. Even so this would be in a long time from now. I will look into it more after my deployment.
