Im building a custom harness for a Haltech ECU, I need to know what sensors i need for this. So far i have an IAT sensor, Throttle Position Sensor, 3.5 BAR MAP sensor, 4 cylinder Injector Loom, WideBand Oxygen Sensor, Coolant Temp sensor. This will be spliced into the ecotec harness, but the factory ECU will be gone.
You'll need Crank Position and if your wanting to run full sequential, you'll need Cam position.
I can't remember if the Haltech will work with the stock Crank/Cam sensors or not. You might have to get a 60-2 crank trigger wheel.
Good luck with eliminating the stock ECU. I'm finding it controls alot of other stuff on an LD9 (2.4). I'm trying to get rid of mine and hook up an Electromotive Tec3.

Im using a serperate fuse block from current performance for my ecotec. It has 12 circuits, which is enough for my fan and a/c control, heater and other things. Since the ECOTEC is using a data stream, im using all aftermarket guages which will aslo be run by the fuse block i have. You should check out current performance, they can probably help you with a-lot of things for your LD9 and getting rid of the pain in then butt stock ECU! Im having a crank trigger put on, and also adding a cam position sensor. I have an auto so i turned to PCS for a controller and harness. Its a stand alone trans controller and for $800 total it will make it easy for tuning and setting up for the 4T65E that im going to be putting in.
