When I'm trying to write a calibration, or even read the PCM I receive this message, "The interface was found, but no vehicle power was detected. Verify cable is connected and the key is in the RUN position".
Does this mean that I need a new cable from the data port to the HPT box?
If you connect the black cord to the car's ODB port but do not connect it to the PC are you getting power from the car?
FU Tuning
Cig fuse is good...where is our chassis ground? Just in case I need to tighten it.
check the power mirror fuse too. if its labelled MIR/DLC its what powers the data port.
also if you get that fixed and it still doesnt work, make sure vcm suite 2.2.0.0 (or later) is installed.

Well, I don't have that fuse...or power mirrors.
Shifted...thanks for posting that its the "DLC port"
I found the fuse. Its the MIR/DLC 10 amp fuse. So what exactly do MIR and DLC stand for?
Thanks again for the help guys! And now for a bad pun, "It's tuning time!"
