Well, a long story short... i went out and bought a junkyard intake manifold to swap in that has no EGR slot hole (original needed removed for cleaning anyway).
Well, I havent got a blockoff plate yet, so the egr is still in the car and funtioning. Obviously, the outlet hose is not connected to the intake, so you can hear it while driving. Sounds like a clicking noise, its weird. But anyway, I can not get HPTuners to disable the EGR valve. I set the "EGR Max RPM" to 50, so anything ovewr 50rpm should disable it.
Any suggestions? Unplugg it and remove the trouble code?

Bump it up... and i also have a related question in performance....it is about 2200 blockoff plate part numbers. Any takers on either question?
