Ok so i'm in the middle of doing a 5spd swap. i bought a computer from a guy that had a 96 2.4L cavalier and it came in today. my thing is though is it has 3 smaller plugs and my auto pcm has 2 long ones, do i have the wrong computer or do i have to wire it all up?

ok so i work at autozone and can get a stock ecu for a 5 spd for about 100 bucks..... how will my car run if i run this stock computer with my mods?

I think the ECU's that you get from the dealer and AZ (dealer for sure) are not flashed, they are blank computers, so HPT can't write the first tune to it. I did say that I could retune your new computer with your old parameters, but unless your car is a 2002 (year I have unlimited licenses for), then it will cost more credits.
Your car will run with the stock computer, your tune isn't so dialed in that it won't run if it doesn't (hard to do something like that through the mail). It will run better with the tune, but it will run without it.

i can get the computer through autozone flashed... they do it through your vin number so what i'll do is just find the vin from a 97 cavy thats just like my car but a manual.... then later down the road i'll send the computer to you and have it tuned.
