Wagonstein passes emmission test!!

This is the first time I've tried to get Wagonstein tested, and it passed, barely! Basicaly, the state of Texas mandates 2 emmissions tests for pre-'96 vehicles. A 15 mph test that puts a pretty good load on the motor and a 25 mph test.

Here are the specs of Wagonstein's heart...........

3.1L V6 bored 0.030 over
Custom Crower camshaft
Intake: 284 degrees duration 0.432" lift
Exhaust: 274 degrees duration 0.417" lift
30 pound injectors
Haltech E6GMX computer

The car does have a cat on it, but it has no EGR(it's bolted on to pass the visual test but the wires aren't hooked up and the port is blocked off).

25 mph test

maximum allowed results

HC ppm 120 78
CO% 0.67 0.09
CO2% 13.9
O2% 0.8
NOx ppm 848 441
Dilution% >6 14.0

15 mph test

maximum allowed results

HC ppm 124 124 <-- running a bit rich and BARELY passed
CO% 0.69 0.13
CO2% 13.4
O2% 1.5
NOx ppm 937 554
Dilution% >6 13.5

The motor currently has approximately 15,000 miles on it since the build. I drove the car about 8 miles to get to the inspection place so it was nice and warm when I got there.

I say it barely passed due to the HC reading on the low speed test.
