What kind of gains can I expect from getting the hptuners software and tuning my eco with a slim mod list.

Not a lot. It can't really be predicted, but not a huge amount without a major modifier.

Thanks, I just want to lightly mess with it and eventually get mild cams. I was gonna s/c but decided to wait a few months.

I do not think anyone can really answer that for you.eason being not many people have tried. I know of one person who did tuning to a stock Ecotec motor and gained 8whp. That is as much if not more than most bolt on mods give. SO I would say that is damn good.

Well i have seen a 2.4 intake kit on crate engine depot and was wondering if I get that if I could get more than the claimed hp increase if tuned properly. I ask alot of questions I know but thats how I learn and not spend money foolishly.

It would be shocking if you gained 10whp from an intake and tuning both. I recall someone doing a cold air intake and a full exhaust and only gaining 7whp from both.

Well that intake kit is basically not just piping and a filter, I have that, I mean its the 2.4 ecotec manifold and putting it on, check it out, http://www.crateenginedepot.com/store/Cobalt-24-Intake-Kit-W67C144.aspx

Wow I just read my last post and I gotta learn to proofread. But yeah its the intake manifold, not the intake pipe, Its supposed to be alot higher volumn.

As I mentioned in your other post, HPT and larger injectors are necessary to take full advantage of that intake manifold, although it will run without either. It took me one full day of tuning and about 4-5 reflashes to get the VE (fueling) tables close on my set up. It could still benefit from some fine tuning, but its leaps and bounds better than the stock injectors and calibration. I plan to dyno to confirm the powerband.
