I have a 95 2.2 cavalier. Want to see and possibly change some things. From what i have read i can get the cable for my laptop and use the freeware to see all the sensors and what they are doing and get the code for the check engine light. i know its obd1 with the 16 pin connector. From what i have read i either save to send the memcal?? to get it reprogrammed ?? Is that right, or get the reader/writer or what do i do?? i have been reading and reading and its hard to find the right info for programing this car and dont want to spend the money just for it not to work.
