You should be able to connect directly to the computer, but then it will not be pulling into HPT for tuning.

I got tuned without a wideband! I didn't realize until recently that I should have had one so I could have got the most HP and best A/F all through the band. How important was it?

I am about to install an LE5 manifold and have the 360 cc injectors. I am thinking before I get tuned, i better buy a wideband like the INNOVATE LC-1! I am assuming I can connect this to the HPT? And then tune better? Not sure how I can do that with HPT ( I am taking the car to get re-tuned by a local tuner with HPT). I would hate to not get the full potential of this mani.

The reason you connect the wideband to HPT is so you can data log and use that data to adjust your tables. You need to program the LM2 with the inovate software. I think i did the lowest value at 10 and highest as 18. Then you have to set up a custom PID and adjust that to so HPT is showing the same value as the LM2 box.

Mr. Marks,
First of all you got a bad ass Z24 I have no idea what all that means but I get the jist of it. I'll have to make sure the tuner does that first. IF I don't get an LM2, can this still work with the LC-1? It does have the logworks software
