Hello. fng here. I'm here posting for a friend, who wants to get his 04 cavalier running top notch. He fabbed his own turbo setup, and it actually runs pretty good. but he's not scanning, nor can he see his air fuel ratio. Coming from the turbo world myself, I know how absolutely important it is, to scan for knock retard, a/f ratios, and modding the ecm to work with the injectors, and increased air, and air flow rates...
He literally just threw the stuff on, installed 42 pound injectors and went. I say he's driving a time bomb, but he's pretty confident in it. I'm here to see what tuning software you guys use to change around the files in the pcm, and how much you know about it. I'm pretty sure we're going to have to go to someones house, to have them do a good tune.
So question 1 is, what software suite, if one exists, do you guys use. And 2, are there any good tuners in michigan, who know what they're doing with the pcm files, on a forced induction application?
