Is 4cyltuner.com gone for good ???
Monday, March 15, 2010 3:51 PM
I'm just in the process of V.E. Tuning and was wondering why the website for the histograms from Shifted is gone. I tried emailing him and got no response . I know I am not the only one trying to figure this out. There is another post at the end of the VE Tuning Sticky asking where the info has gone. I got some data from another person on here and I trust it, but the transmission information on how to modify the 4t40e was on there also. It is not longer on the hptuners forum either. There is a histogram repository up but nothing listed for jbodies. A little help please?

The JBody Tuning section sucks . Nobody shares good info and half of the how to's don't show you HOW TO.. This platform is dead

its not so much dead, more like the real knowledgable members who can actually help people and post useful topics choose not to because pissing matches start so fast, and theres an abundance of know-it-all losers arguing them, who in reality, know nothing

I will PM you.... I have a few Balts (LNFs) running around here pissing a lot of modified LSx cars off... Its kinda amusing! BTW, you may want to look into getting a clutch for it. I highly recommend the ZZP/Southbend clutch... The factory one sucks balls when the car actually makes some torque...

I've been playing with transmission tuning on my 04.. what info were you after? shift points? shift pressure? I have a pretty nice tune in the car now, shifts at 6500 and feels like it has a shift plus
