I have officially completed my motor and everything is in.
Now I just need to tune...lol. But I have 550cc injectors...I do have a safc but dont have it hooked up yet.
Does anyone have 550cc and no safc? If so what worked best as far as fuel pressure at idle...because mine is soo pig rich, it doesn't want to idle...but over 1500rpms its smooth. Just want a little heads up to shorten my tuning time and have a somewhat decent idle.
I have my fuel pressure at 25ish psi for 300cc injectors. Im pretty sure its impossible to get a good idle without something controling your pulsewidths.
Yeah...thats kinda what I was thinking. I thought the injectors need a certain pressure to even open. 25 sounds too low for them to even fire/open at. anybody else using 550cc??
get an adjustible fuel pressure reg and just try to get it close to stock i think its 45 (not to sure)
