I was looking on cavalier world . com and you can send in your ECU to get tuned, is this just as good as a dyno tune? I only want to do minor bolt ons with a future 75 shot... would this be good enough for bolt ons?
Nothing can replace live tuning, especially on the jbody PCM. Ask Vince at Trifecta tuning why he won't tune J's anymore. A few have blown up from the tune not being right. If you want to do something like nitrous or any other power adder, you'll need to spend the money on a solid tune.

ok good to know!.. thanks for the info!
Doesn't matter on the car platform nothing replaces live tuning.
FU Tuning
Got that right!

Agreed 100%. But it's amazing the amount of people out there with newer cars (or even here for that matter) who will pay really good money for a canned tune. I get that availability can be a problem, but if I'm dropping 500+ for a canned tune, I'd rather pick up the software and learn for myself (eh....I kinda did haha).
