JUst finished a 96 2.2l to a 96 2.4l swap into a sunfire..but theft light is on and it turns over but wont' run. Checked view etc. Can't remember how do to the reflearn cycle.

i could be wrong.....but i remember this from someones swap info.
turn the key forward but no start.....and leave it there until the theft light comes off...
takes about 20 mins.
i could be worng but i have a good feeling that is what it is

Turn the key/ start it just let it die then after 10 or so minutes the theft light( i think thats the one) will quit flashing then you should be able to start it right up.

wanna do a write up and list the parts needed? you went from 3 speed auto to 4 speed auto with that swap, right? i'd like to do that swap this winter. any tips you have would be invaluable.

Just took everytying under the hood and connected to motor..ie mounts, heater hoses etc. Just plugged right in>
