So if the stock fuel pressure is 55psi on a 2003 spec ecotec, what is the WOT fuel pressure? say its around 65psi, whats the max PSi the stock fuel pump can put out?
If the stock pump can take more pressure bump up the base pressure and keep backing down the injector constant, the higher the fuel pressure the better the atomization right?

says there that stock fuel pump puts out 80PSI

but what does it do stock? at WOT

from my underdstanding the fuel pump puts out 80PSI all the time... now the regulator is what changes based on pressure (vaccum/boost) ... correct me if im wrong people
what it goes to exactly (stock) im not sure
you can get a fuel pressure gauge hooked up and see

the pressure reg is what dictates actual running pressure , pump is 80 psi max
higher fuel pressures will drop pump life
my 2.4 i droped my fuel pressure to 30 psi from 50psi , have had no problems from the lower pressure
hmm i cant seem to get my digital fuel pressure gauge to say anything but LO
