I got a 2000 and 02 sunfire PCM and ECM pin outs and wire diagrams

shifted you thnk itould be possible to put the 00-02 pcm in a older car and still have everything work , now that hp tuners is out ?
and keep the 95-99 body harness
and actually iwont be toworry about the factory gauges , since its gonna be a race car

Nick (Change4abutton) did this a few years ago...... he was running the S/C Reflash in his '98, wired in the BCM and everything....... Tom (WrenchMonkey) now owns the car.

Yea, I'm trying to do it in steps. I've done the '96 to '97-'98 swap. Then the '97-'98 to '99 reflash and knock sensor change. Now I'm going to try the '99 to '00-'02 swap with the S/C reflash.
So far the only things they've changed on the '00 is...
C1-14 (Tan wire) (UART) serial data... Not used
C1-50 (Yel/Blk) Engine Coolant level switch Input... Not used
C1-55 (PPL) Fuel Level Input 5 Volt Ref. ... Added
C1-58 (PPL) Serial DATA... Added
C1-61 (Pink) Ignition Pos. 5 Volt Ref. ... Not Used
I don't think the change in Fuel,UART and Coolant will effect the PCM. The added Serial DATA is the same as pin C1-59 so that shouldn't change anything.
I think the only major change is the C1-61. And I'm not sure what it changes yet , if anything...???

Pink is always 12v ignition, aka key on power.
