Can anyone point me in the right direction for tunning a 3400 turbo...? stock gpt injectors... all 3 inch intacke including intercooler....
Idle 900-1000 rpm warm.
cold engine stalls sometimes (idle is a little loopy) at slight gas, warm is fine....
Auto 3 speed rebuilt(bullitproof)..
ObD1 = freescan only reads rpm nothing else...
30 psi fuel at all times..
what else do you guys need as info...?
What ecm/ pcm? (I'm guessing 1277730.)
Stock engine? If not, cam specs, compression, etc?

Huh??? Even stock systems don't do this.
Have you tried winaldl?

30 psi at idle, sorry....
Chip is im pretty sure is from a stock 89 GPT..
Stock 2002 35.000km grand am gt
haven't tried winaldl yet.. that hook up to my odb1 plug same as freescan?
Thanks for your help, im a huge nooB to this...
Winaldl uses the same serial cable, but it might not be set up to understand the ecm. I use Datamaster, not Winaladl, but I don't know if it's set up for the TGP.
If you're interested in doing your own tune, you'll want to find tuning software for the $8F TGP calibration to modify that chip. Tunerpro can be used for free.

You can get the software and the $8F definition file from that page. There's a bunch of stuff to look at and it will all look like the Matrix in the beginning.
You need something to watch ALDL data or good tuning will be virtually impossible. The WBO2 can save a bunch of time.
Send me email and I can probably help you better.
