I am driving an 2002 Cavalier with the 2200 engine. Upgrades I have done include .......... AEM Cold Air Intake, Pacesetter Armour Coated Header, Magnaflow OBDII Catalytic (2.25 in and out), Magnaflow Resonator (2.25 also) and a Vibrant Cat Back exhaust. I also have NGK plugs and Taylor wires. Other upgrades include lowered suspension and 17's. Would HPTuner provide me with any benefits. Fuel mileage wise I am doing great. (600 kilometers per tank Hwy). I only have 52000 kilometers on her after 5 years so she is barely broken in. Also using Royal Purple. Any advice is appreciated. Turbo is not in the budget yet. But other less costly upgrades are still possible.

You are off better taking the 500 dollars from HPTuners and swapping in a junkyard Eco.

Don't listen to the haters.
Yes it would help. Just scan throught the pages of the tuning forum and you'll find a few posts about just how well it works, when done properly. If you don't know how to tune, though, get it done by some one who knows what they are doing. Otherwise, you could damage the motor.
Or find someone with hp tuners to tune your car and just buy the credits for it. it is an option but then you would have to use their cable everytime you want to retune. may be annoying at times.
I have a 2003 cavi WITH and eco...about same mods but I only have..AEM cai..pace setter headers..magnaflow cat ..and borla muffler...do you think it would help me out..im seriously thinking about getting it...but im also afraid about messing with it do to smog check living in California.
