Ok 3weeks ago I raced a Rsx Type-S Turbo charge with 8psi, dont know exacly what he has in his car But some friends told me that he was looking for my cavy cause he thought it was stupid to turbocharge a "CAVALIER" so my friends told me that he wanted to race me,so 3 weeks ago we raced and from a dig, I took him 1st Gear,2nd Gear and 3rd Gear
he started catching up and took me for 1 car.Everybody thougt i beat him and even tho i said he beat me they want to see a rematch cause this guy was also saying that i took off first. I said to let me tune my car so i can also push 8psi and be a even race he was not happy cause he thought he would take me easy.. and to find out that am only runnig 5psi on my car!! so i got less then a month to do this and have my car ready, so i need your help Please:>>>>
So i want to know EXACLY what i will need to tune my car and the best parts for the tuning, soo far what i have is,,,

i have never taken my car to the dyno , but as far as the rsx, i belive he said he had a greddy ,,well to be honest i dont even remember, i got a t3 turbo, and see this is the thing, i just thought of putting a turbo on my car cause i thought it would be quick, and i was not disappointed, for 5 psi my car was kicking ass... but now, my car was not running like in the beggining cause i could actually notice something wrong with my fuel, but i really dont know much about cars, But i really want to Learn.. just that New Mexico Sucks for J-bodys. noone around here knows alot about Jbodys. only "import" ... come on guys help me out.
when is the last time you checkde your plugs? and you need a wideband on that thing...
what are you doing with fuel??
and are you pulling any timing with boost?

oh man, that is as easy as we can be.... well maybe,,, take off the cover that says "2.4 TWIN CAM" and those spark plug thingers need to taken out (with a cold engine) and check to make sure they are not melted or cracked.
2ndly.. you put a "t3" turbo on the car.. did you add an FMU or larger fuel injectors, or anything to give the engine more boost???

well yeah i know what the spark plugs and wires are, sorry i thought u meant some other plugs. and well havent checked them in the last 6 months atleast, but i have changed them in the past, Not the wires tho.
and i have stock injectors now ,but i put 550cc injectors i bought,on and my car but, was just going crazy,,, cause when i first put them in,my engine was idleing crazy like if it was going to die out. and was spilling liquid like water and fuel mixture something like that, i put another injectors that were "" 10%'" higher than the stock ones and the car was alot better but not stable, cause everytime i would step on the gas, the car would wanna die out and then it would kick in and go, so am also thinking it would be a tuning thing,

you didnt actually get a "turbo kit". you got pieces, probably some used, from a guy who bought those pieces from people on ebay and then re-sold them to you for about 150% markup price. do a search on here for maximumboost.

What did this kit come with?
Look into Cartech FMU's. Relatively cheap decent tuning. Also, you'll need a wideband 02 gauge and sensor.

Psi means nothing its about flow and volume and how efficient things are, displacement as well, obviously you having .4 more litre you dont need as much psi to make the same power, for instance an 2.4 with 10psi would destroy almost any B series honda motor with equal boost
