So I went out and did some pulls, thought maybe the Cavi's had COT, but I wouldn't be able to tell anyway. My cat temps are around 1500 at WOT.....
I'm running good afr's in the range of 11.8-12.4. Used to be 11.3-11.8 but I messed with the injector constant a little and it pulls soo much harder now. Guess fuel really does make a difference
But, when I shift at the top of 4th into 5th gear, around 120mph, and continue WOT, I barely gain speed. I noticed my afr's are in the region of 10.8-11.3 in 5th gear. I don't know of anyway to lean fuel out in 5th gear. So maybe there is a trick or something that I'm not seeing. I was thinking of messing around with the PE afr vs. map or the inj pw vs. map, but have no clue what I'm doing with those lol.....so if anyone has any clue how to lean fuel out in 5th gear, I wanna know
Thanks

it may not necessarily be the fuel thats lean, but your gearing
since you're in an overdrive gear the car takes a bit longer to climb RPM, so what you're seeing air/fuel wise may be because its climbing slower and you see the same section of your fuel map a lot longer than normal.
well then another question....
I'm commanding 11.9 in PE, but it will start to drop down gradually to 11.2 sometimes, and I've seen it as low as 10.2 in 5th. All my multipliers are set at 1.0 so ionno wtf is going on....any ideas??

Told ya mat, its because your in 5th gear that makes it seem like your not accelerating
That gear is looooooooong, right? lol

ok, well this is your answer, listen to the guage name one again, wide band... right.. well yah, but also o2 sensor, so say it again, wide band oxygen sensor.. so what is it reading??? it is reading the ammount of oxygen in your exhuast, more specifically the unburnt oxygen. So by you richening up on the gauge, that means you have more unburnt oxygen.
You are having a lean misfire, check your fuel pressure, I bet it takes a dive in 5th.

No misfire here, atleast not enough to light up the CEL 15 times lol.....I'm logging the misfire's though, and I don't know how bad this is, but on my last run from 3rd (60mph) through 4th gear, it said I had 102 misfires. The wideband almost bottoms out in 5th gear though, reading around 10.3-10.7
So I have to get a fuel pressure gauge now??? Or is there someway to read it in HPT??
Thanks

I just went through exactly that. go to a hardware store grab a cheap liquid pressure gauge (5-10 bucks) grab a T, some clamps and put it on the outside of your windshield... take it for another burn, I bet you are dropping up top.
Just for a quick calculation, my 650cc injectors are rated at 43 psi, so at 11psi boost I run 906cc injectors(71psi - 11psi boost = 60 psiA fuel pressure). And I have 4, so 4 x 906cc = 3624 cc/min, if you are running 80% duty cycle (which I am at 280whp) you are using 2.9 liters of gas/min, or 173 lph
What fuel pump are you using?? the walbro 190lph at 173 lph, (91% duty cycle) is not only losing fuel pressure, but the return isn't helping to fill your canister. When we say 80% should be maximum for fuel injectors, the same goes for fuel pumps. Keep in mind 10-15% of you fuel goes through the secondary output to fill the canister.
Not saying this is 100% your issue, but when you have an issue like you do, with your EGT's it sounds an awful lot like a fuel supply issue. I would also recommend calling a dyno shop and asking him what they think.
