I am guessing that no one has these with HID's Only people with APC projectors seem to have HID's.
I am guess those who bought matrix wanted cheap projectors and HID's are to expensive for them.

I have misterjung 7000k on the matirx projectors w/ blue ion lense. The ion lense caused the light to be yellowish/white so i took them out and plan on getting the ones with the clear lense, but until then, sorry, no pics.
I'm currently waiting on my HID kit to arive from the GP. As soon as they're installed I'll post pics. btw, have the old chrome Matrix projectors w/ the clear ion lense.
Anyone????????????
What's the diff between the Matrix and APC/Ebay specials? I suspect they're not even APC...
I have the Ebay black ones... and 5200k HID kit. soon to be installed...

John from all the comments from other post00, and from what i have seen the matrix light out put on stock bulbs is worse than the APC on stock. I think they have a thicker lense than APC. The APC projectors seem to have bette light out put. Plus i have only seen HID's in APC. I want to see what the light out put look like with HID's so i can decide what i want to buy.
I know most people buy Matrix because hey are cheap and have sold them because the light out put sucks. My guess which i know is wrong is that becaue people want cheap they are not willing to put out for HID's thus why they go the EBAY/matrix prrojectors and not APC.

I actually went Ebay/ Matrix because I didn't know where to get APC projectors.
I had never seen APC projectors for a cavalier -- so I just got the matrix ones on e-bay.
i got the matrix cuz im cheap and couldnt afford the apc projectors when i dont even like them
im gettin HID's here soon,
also u make APC sound like they r god of all car parts, whats wrong with ebay projectors? how is APC projectors just so damn good ?
to me they r the same,
APC projectors are Pieces of Crap...
half the time the adjuster screws are broken...
gotta cut a part of the car body to fit...
i had matrix projectors and have another set of them because with stock bulbs in them the brightness is great and im happy with the headlights that fit without me cuttin crap out of my car...
and besides... Matrix looks better too (personal preference)

Im about to put a 9005 HID kit on my low beams...
Some1 on here recommended misterjung.com ... but he never answers his freaking e-mail.
I found another seller -- as soon as I get the HID installed I will post some pics (from installation --> use).
Just got mine installed this past Sat. (McCulloch 8500K hid + Matrix projectors) They look incredibly schweet but everyone w/ projectors know how much of a pain they are to adjust & align properly so I'll probably end up matting them w/ the stock headlight fitting harness.
Newayz I'll try to take some pics tonight
What kind of kit did you use for your low beams?
Did you get a 9005 kit or a 9006 kit?
If you did 9006 -- did you just dremel out the matrix projector to make it fit perfectly?
APC may not be that great both have alignment isssue but the matrix seems to have more alignment issues than APC also APC on stock bulbs are a little brighter than Matrix. Some projectors APC make you still have to cut the frame in order to get them sitting properly. On HORSEPOWER TV the APC projectors they put on a mustang had to have a piece behind the headlight to get it to fit. It is the lesser of two evils. I like the look of both APC had less alignment issues. Also Matrix from what i understand you need to get the clear lense and not the colores ones.
Well a few things --
I have decided on a HID kit, and yes I plan to use 9005 as the low beam bulb. I have talked to the vendor on IM, and they said this will be a non-issue.
Second -- the *only* reason I have not ordered my kit (which is priced around $485 for a 4100k output, yes it is a phillips system) is because I am somewhat concerned with how the matrix projector will break up the light. I don't want to spend 500 bucks to have garbage light output. Then again, what I have now with halogen's in there isn't so hot either (why I am worried).
I did a lot of research on hidforum.com -- it seems there is a *really* negative vibe around nearly every single e-bay kit sold. As such, I went with xenonfactory.com, who have been more than nice in aiding me with this.
Just my 2 cents. And if I do go through with the HID install, I will post copious amounts of pictures.
i have the apc and they do have adjustment issues but they are awsome and for the price i cannot complain i got them from someone in the classified section for 130 bucks. beat that one....
9005 are going to be much brighter than 9006 bulbs. I think. 9006 should be fine for HID's. I have HID's and they are brighter than my high beams. I am not sure about matrix but the APC projectors with HID's are prettey good. If you search you will see the light out put is great.
That is why i have this post no one has picturs of HID's and Matrix headlights;1
If you are talking about the one adjustment screw being broken (i.e. just spins, and will not adjust headlight)...try swapping the backings from your stock headlights onto the APC Projector headlights. It worked perfect for me.
