i'm thinking of getting a used set (not LED's), i would like to know which ones to stay away from and which ones are pretty decent. and which ones have the best and worst shade of red,
streetglow, eurolite, etc
get streetglow gold series... I've seen a few people with the no names or the lower end streetglow ones and they are just not bright enough. Gold series all the way IMO
(even though this should probably be in exterior or electronics)
someone had a picture from a company in canada on a silver fire. Wow those things were so god damn bright..lemme search and see if i can find it...
StreetGlow gold series & PlasmaGlow's platinum series are basically identical, and the light output is about equal.
Low Glow, Lite Glow, Redline, OPTX are all lower end.... and some are made by the same manufacturer.

Its funny cuz on the streetglow website, their L.E.D kits ae cheaper than their gold series kits. dopes that mean the gold series kits are brighter than the L.E.D kits?
has anyone tried EuroLite? i found them for a good price. are they fairly bright? and a true shade of red
go with street glow gold series...i have the green on my car and they are by far the brightest in my area for cars with neons...later
streetglow is more than i can afford at the moment, i can get used Eurolites and wondering if there is a big difference between them
dont worry they will break in less than 6 months
I had LiteGlow and they were so-so. I wrecked the car with them on (killed the undercarriage of the car), the bulbs broke, but the lexan tubing didn't crack anywhere. I wouldn't buy them again.

Why buy something thats going to break a few months down the road?
I have the Streetglow LED's and have not had a problem with mine yet.
They are bright and durable, while still letting the color spread around the car.
I got mine from Kevin @
KRI Motorsports.
Portage, MI
I had the eurolite UFO series glow set in blue pretty darn bright and lasted for 2 years.
2009 Ford Mustang V6
i heard good things about plasma glow as well any good places to get them?? Jason do yous carry them?
the EuroLites "break"??? or do you mean burnout,
how much wattage do they usually use?
you guys ever seen those ones like a strip of LEDs that circle the car like christmas lights, LOL
Just for the record...I had Liteglows on my Avenger, and had no problems, even through winter. But, imo, StreetGlow all the way. I would only buy the liteglows again if I was in a REALLLLLLY big bind, and HAD to have them...wait, how would that ever be possible? I'd save up a bit until you could afford the Streetglows. You'll be happier in the long run.
Brakes? I don't need no stinking brakes....I have air bags

Those are called Street Lites. Not sure if they still make them or not, but they were the brightest neons I've ever seen.
