ok guys im trying to decide ona kit...i was planning on going drift but i was told it wasnt street friendly my second choice will be the blitz kit...my concern is over the front bumper being low...just how low is the drift bumper and is the bliz actually higher from the ground??
if anyone has these kits could they please give me their true opinons..thanks!
I have the blitz front with 18's and Intrax 1.75" - 2.00" drop. The bottom of my bumper set right at 3" from the ground. I've got hpracing coilovers now but it's raised up right now cause of all this darn snow.
Drift is pretty much as low as they come
I just got the 00+ Urethane Drift front for my cavalier, and on 19's I'm sitting at 3 1/2" off the ground... I'm going with a mild 1.5" drop... that should bring me to 2"-2 1/4" off the ground.
The drift bumper is
LOW! I'm sitting on stock springs and am very hesitant about lowering it cuz it's my daily driver and i don't want it to crack. the blitz kit is nice but i always felt it was too aggressive
Anyone got a picture of the drift front lowered? Sry not trying to jack your post.

yea..that would be nice...a pic of both perhaps
i had the drift front and it does sit very low on stock springs.
if u want a good pic go to cardomain.com and look at "Project Z Queen"
she has a lot of pics of her car with the drift kit.

there ya go-
lowered on GroundControl coilovers on KYB GR2s (BAD IDEA)
the front coils are about an inch down, the rears are all the way up. I can't get my shoe under the front lip
IMO the drift looks better, that's what i have(had) until i went into a field off a slick road. I also live on a really bumpy gravel road, but rarely did I scrape on it, as long as you keep it under 55 on the backroads, you'll be fine, except steep inclines, but that's another story.
I personally think the drift looks better, but it is low. Mine looks pretty much like opeth's.
Just bought a Drift kit for my 2000...
my question is more along the line of how to install the sides....but l already have a thread in this forum on that....
GO Drift Baby..........!!!!!!
ok so i reallyyy wanna go drift.they look great!! nice car opeth! and thats with an inch drop right? which is mild and acceptible.....but do you have any problems rubbing it? sayyyy pulling into a gas station or what not...dont know about where you guys live but in NC it seems everything is offset from the road....but im about ot move to austin texas so that might help.....so should i just wait till this summer for the move to put it on??
whats up guys. i'm going with drift front sides, and type 3 rear. I also want to go with eibach sportlines and yellows. so is this good. will i be lower than you opeth or the same?
I'm going with the exact same but l'm on Sportlines and Kyb gr2's ( for now..)
I will be changing my susp. setup winter of 05/06
damn only an inch. Guess my sprints will rub for sure. oh well.

Go with the drift kit It looks alot better. I have the drift kit with a 2" drop and 18" wheels. I hardly ever hit anything, but when I had 17's I hit alot more. BUt all in all I think the drift is by far the more aggressive looking one. Just my 2 cents

actually, the GroundControl coilovers are a 1.5" drop, even when they're all the way up. (i can still lower the car like 3.5 more inches)...i'm just lowered an additional inch in the front.
as far as rubbing, i don't have any problems at all.
I like drift the best. I can't get my shoe under my front lip either

hey please dont get mad at me cause i know this is off the subject but curiosity got the best of me...
what kind of engine do you have in that primered cav, cavgirl? cause that is a huge hood and i am dyin to know. sorry. lol. If it helps, i think that drift looks way better. i used to have a blitz but they are just way too aggressive and don't go withthe lines that well.
matrixlifedemon lala, I have a 2.4L engine....the hood isn't really that huge, just like a cowl induction hood.
