i just got a set of EuroLite underbody neons (NOT LED) i'm trying to figure out how many watts/amps i'm using from my alternator....The transformer just says output 5000 Volts.
Damn, and i just threw away my box for my old ones

all depends on the size fuse thats on your main power line. the 5000 volts is an internal circuit voltage that is created by the transformer (hence y u need it).

I have a yellow top and i leave mine on for hours at a time LOL jsut 1 20" neon used to kill my stock batter after about 2 hours.. believe it or not they suck some serious power outta the battery. I left mine on for about 18 hours in my garage once.. LOL killed my yellowtop, I didnt htink that was possible. Didnt even have enough for a cold crank i hadda charge it a lil to start the car . I've got Full underbody, headlight neons, 10"s in the fenders, 2 - 20" s in the trunk., 2 - 5"s in the interior floor boards. LOL but that's alot of neon to suck some power
