i have a 97 with an import fighter kit on it and need to put on a wing desperately. i want the 2000-2002 wing that goes down on the trunk . Im confused now because someone told me that theres two different ones for that year. the ls and the z 24 wing. i thought there was just one type for those years. please someone help me i need that wing bad. thanks

I'm pretty sure thats the only one i've seen on a 2000-2002 Z24 or LS. If youre in the market for one i'll have one for sale in a week.

This is the other spoiler but it doesnt go down the trunk. My car is a 2000 also
yup there were defintely 2 spoilers for those years, on the 03 and up there was only one spoiler

Why did Gm put a 95-99 spoiler on a 2K car then i assumed mine is a dealer add on since the clear coat is peeling off but thats the way the car came from the factory.
prolly left over stock... just wanted to use it to get rid of it.
Yeah, I've seen a few like that...
actually the the 95-99 spoiler (low spoiler) was factory installed on the 00-02 LS cavs
the tall spoiler was reserved for the Z24 and the LS SPORTS and 02 base sports

On the Exterior FAQ, its says the ones from 00-02 wont fit because the lip will get in the way of the red reflector.

the tall spoiler has a clearence issue with the 03-05 tail light lens on the trunk , it will fit with a little work
the tall spoiler will fit all 95-02 cav with out any tail light issues
unless you do something custom

What does a little work mean, trim the spoiler? I just got an '02 Z/24 spoiler because I like how they look better. After I got it and started looking at it in the house, I realized its not gonna clear the damn lens on the trunk. LOL Oh well.
The way I see it, I have 4 options: 1)Trim the spoiler, 2)trim the lense, 3)buy a 95-02 trunk lid, 4) sell it and get the 95-02 low spoiler.
Any thoughts? I really like the looks of the longer older spoiler better than the one on the 03+.

your best bet would be to get an older trunk lid.
Here's a question, does it cover up the holes (or use the same ones) left from a 95-99 z24 spoiler?
