i need to know what i can do about these scratches. the picture does it a little justice. i really dont need it to be perfect, just to make it the best that i can do by myself. some kind of trick such as: touch up and wax, or just buff and wax real nice...
i really dont want to paint the damn thing. thanx in advance.

Hard to see in the pics...
If the scratches are NOT through the clear... it could be wet-sanded and buffed out, provided they are not too deep...
If they are through the clear... it needs to be repainted.
lick your fingers or spit on it and rub it over the scratch, if the scratch goes away u can buff it out, if not its gotta be repainted.
I have had good luck using this on some minor scratches...
For more deeper scratches on my non-j-body, I have used Polishing Compound, followed with a thorough waxing...
On some really deep scratches on my non-j-body, but ones not down to bare metal, I have taped along the scratch on both sides, painted with touch up paint, allowed drying time, removed tape, very lightly sanded to get the high spots down, then used the Polishing Compound, followed with a thorough waxing.
