Projector Style Headlights
Tuesday, March 22, 2005 6:15 PM
Before anyone tells me to: I've searched!

Now... Who makes/sells the projector style headlights for the early-style Sunfire? I know they're out there but I'll be damned if I can find them.

Any help would make me a slightly happier sunfire owner

no one makes them. the ones that have those lights are custom made. thats it dont waste your time looking. make your own like me!

well you did good on the search if you came up w/ nothing, since they dont exist for fires. you'll have to make them yourself. talk to tabasco he has a set. he didnt make his but i believe he knows how it is done.

Custom is the way to go man, every set in existence right now is dfferent, make em urself it is much more rewarding. <img src="http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/8/web/212000-212999/212995_22_full.jpg">

for you custom guys i was wondering if you cut a hole out of the plastic lens then glassed over it or did you just make a glass mold? also what did you do to the backing so you can change the bulbs if they blow out? i have been contimplating this job for a while now and i just need a little more info on it. thanks in advance

ive been lookin for a spare set of 03s around here cause I wanna attempt to make some, I have some ideas around already hopefully i can find some soon and start working on them.

As for the 03 cavs.. - i received few emails about sending me a pair of the lights to play around with. as i told him that i cant gurantee but it would definetly be a challage and i like challages. so he said he was going to try to send me a pair asap. havent received any yet.. but whoever sends them that be great.

as for the sunfire, it would take about couple weeks to make these for someone if someone wanted.. i am experimenting with different lights now but i dont got any spare housings to play around with. anyone know a pick and pull place in Detroit area? i am in canada and headlights at a junk yard are 150 CND each.
