i already searched tha old messages and read them all to a T and i tried all day yesterday to try and take tha covers off my 03 cavy so i can clear out my amber lenses but i had no luck at all!!! i put it in tha oven and everything and still nothing. and all im doing right now is tearing the sh** out of my headlights from where im trying to pry them open w/ a screwdriver so if someone who's either done it or has more knowledge than me about how to do it please get back to me w/ some advice. much appreciated thanx

I've heard you can warm them up (the adhesive) with a hairdryer, oven (be super careful) or heatgun (also be super careful)

I know I've seen some posts on here about it..... hopefully omeone can point you in the right direction....

But stop using the screwdrivier. I wouldn't use that until you have the adhesive heated up!

put them in the oven at i think 350 degrees for 25 minutes, if it doesnt pull apart fairly easily after that put them in for longer.`

Nooooooooooooo!

You will melt your lenses if you do that, crack them and so on. The cavys have plastic lenses which are no good at that heat. You should be good enough with 225 for about 10 min. Try to take them apart then if you have to put them in the oven again and so on, but not too long.
