I was wondering what you guys opinions are of CF hoods on black cars. Ive seen a few pics and im unsure on it. Im getting tired of my old RK ramair and am looking at CF since i wouldnt have to get it painted. Also do you think hood pins would be needed? On the highway my RK hood moves up and down quite a bit but ive never had any problems.

it looks good and bad.......it always looks like your hood is dirty...no matter how clean the car is. I have pondered this many time and my friend

I agree that certain angles do make the CF look different. I don't think it makes it look dirty, but when the sun shines on it from different angles it makes the CF look lighter then it actully is. No big deal to me as I like the CF on black as it dosen't stick out like a sore thumb.
i think it looks fine, im a fan of contrast so i do prefer it better on other colors
it doesn't look good in pictures at all on a black car. but in person it's awesome

A definite yes. I like it alot.
i liked the carbon fiber hood on my car when i had the invader hood. but i do like that ram air on your car, it goes well with the front. just something to consider. but hey, if you do get a new hood let me know how much you want for the ram air, my gf has a fire.

I can't remember who made it, but I saw a Titanium fiber hood in HCI, I think thatwould look awesome on a black car.

Well, seeing as how I just ordered my VIS Invader hood in C/F, my vote would be "yes"
no way.......... lol
it looks better in person that it does in the pics on the computer at least
