I have already posted about the hood but I am having second thoughts now. Recently I ran into the back of a car and damaged my hood and front bumper (and a few other things that have nothing to do with this post). Anyways, I now have a good reason to get a new hood and body kit. I like the rksport type J body kit a lot, because it is urethane and the way it looks. Would this kit be recommended, if not what would you recommend? I like the skyline front on www.gravanatuning.com but it is hard to believe that it would be an easy install. Now on to the hood, I would like to get a carbon fiber hood but I am worried about the durability and the life of one. I like the VIS evo and invader. The thing that worries me is the price, they are fairly cheap compared to some of the others and I would rather spend the money now rather than have it break in the future. If anyone has any suggestions to what type of hood I should get, brand, style etc. Please post. Thanks
I have the Type J kit and the VIS CF Invader hood, and love them both.
and both are about the highest quality out there, if i'm not mistaken
well no offense but since you already ran into the back of someone, depending on how hard you hit them, i think you would be a good canidate for a urethane kit (type j). this way if something like this happens again, even if you tap them at like 2mph, your urethane kit will give and wont break. as for the hood. vis is a very good company that makes quality parts
Thanks for all your feedback. No offense taken.
