well guys after a dissapointing night at the track.... followed by my friend backing into a mustang... i decided to go get some food and go home.. So i pull into mcdonalds plot and order my food.. then i was forced to drive thru some uneven gravel because mcdonalds was working on there driveways,,, any way it was 1 in the morning and i wasnt really paying attention and ran into a hole and cracked the front bumper pretty nasty,,, my question is should i try to fix it or just buy a new front bumper... and if i should buy a new bumper where could i find the real bomex front bumper? ill post pics in a few to let u see the damage

I'm no body expert but that doesn't look too bad. I think you should fix it, good luck with whatever you decide.

I agree, you could fix that pretty easily and for a whole lot less than buying a whole new bumper.

yea not to bad. theres no chuncks missing. all you would have to do it lay down some mat and resin on the front of the bumper. probably just 2 layers, maybe even 1. then do the same for the inside but built the inside up w/ resin and mat. doesnt matter if its uneven on the inside, you wont see it. if you want a real bomex go to bomexusa.com i believe. their pretty expensive. your probably looking at like 400-500 for just the front and its still glass. someone posted they could get a real bomex kit cheap. i think it was cfnx (sp?) or something like that
that sucks , yeah id atleast try to fix
its the least expensive way out , and if it doesnt come out good you wont be out alot of $$ for trying
and you still have the option of a new 1 , unless you really want a new bumper , in which case get a new 1
