Sorry for asking, but I have looked through the faq, and searched for endless hours looking for a good guide to clear and paint 04 cav headlights. First when I saw it, it sounded like the easiest thing to do ever. While it still does, what I don't understand is how you get the clear casing off... I read in another post that they stuck it in a oven or something to loosen the adhesive? Sounds kind of risky to me... And the last question, if you do have to heat the lamp up to release the adhesive, how to you secure the cover when you are done?

Ok i found some things, let me rephrase my question.

What heat, and how long do you cook em for? And what type of sealant do you use to re-seal when finished?

search more, I know I've posted it AT LEAST 3 times in the past

put it the oven at 180 for 7min and try if its not easy put it back in for about 3-4 min keep doing this untill its easy to pry it off. seal it back up with clear silicone. search for 04 clear corners i just did a quick how to about 1 week ago. hope that helped

dont get used to this most people on here wont post links for you your gonna have to figure out the search button. i understand it took me awhile to figure out how it worked and sometimes it still doesnt get it right
