i was just thinking...im about to get a kit..but yet i do all my own work on my car and the ones ive seen so far with kits are so low i dont see how you get the car off the ground...
like say i wanted to change my oil..how do you guys get under your cars....i usually use these ramps to drive up on and just roll under the car....im just curious cus i just dont get it lol
you can get ramps for lowered cars. try a few local parts stores. or if you switch to using a jack you can get mini-ramps to raise the car enough to slip a jack under it. pep boys has those.

wow...didnt see that one coming lol thanks
the stupid jack that came with the car, ha ha, then after it's up high enough, put a real jack underneath for the rest of the way
depends for me. even w/ my car raised all the way up and on 2x4s its still hard to get under so i drop the one side and the other side raises up a bit more than i can get the factory jack under to get it started then i use my floor jack once it clears the side skirts. too much work though. takes me about 30 mins just to get the car up
yea most of the people i kno use 2x4s as well. As anyone used one of those lowprofile racing jacks that the auto stores have? jw cause i was thinkin about buyin one of those but wasnt sure if itd be worth the money.

Same here. Factory jack, then a 4 ton once it's high enough. Then, if it's something pressing, I raise that bastid as high as I can and throw 'er on jackstands.
Ya I say go with 2x4's, I went out and bought the ramps for lowered cars and they still were not low enough
