I always wanted to get this back bumper, I am not goign to settle until I get one cutom made or whatever.
I think this is the best invention since water and food.
It is so bad to the point where I thought about glassing it my damn self and I don't want to do that.
I just love this thing.
So I know everything is possible to make, but this one, is it and who???
It is the rear bumper in a Cavalier 425 Drag the one with the little Chevy emblems painted all over it, that supposebly some college students built.
Here is the link.

You might wanna check into a Sunfire conversion, and hit up the streetfire rear bumper from RK Sport...That bumper is almost exact to what I have on my fire...check this link...
http://rksport.com/product/p_06019002/view_detail ...it is really close, and w/ some minor mods, you could have what you want

this is the one hes talking about...no sunfire bumper
anything can be done with time and money...go for it!!
^^^ thats kinda, but i think the look he's going for on it is the reason i like it, its clean and smooth. Not a lot of Unnecessary angles and fins.
its a 1 off desgin and was made for drag racing so the back is wide open
youll have to make 1 your self if you want 1
Damn that blows.
It is good for the sir flow for the drag racing because it has the air guides in the middle, that picture is pretty dark on my computer so I don't think I can see them there, but I've seen it in person and it has them.
Neverless it looks just lovelly.
So does anyone know will the polyurethane and fiberglass stick to eachother??
Thanks guys, it is the beauty of simplicity that is amazing.

right, I wasnt saying that they were an exact match, however, w/ some cutting and shaving, he could acheive a similar look...that was all I was getting at

i would recommend getting a drift rear and modding from there. overall it shouldnt be THAT hard to do. i mean lets be honest.....youre not going to be making the rear from scratch. youre just smoothing out all of the body lines and adding the bottom part. this should be a very attainable mod for you

Why me? Am I suposse to be like I pro in this? Or you are just saying.
One of the reason I like this bumper so much is because there isn't much of it in the back, like it almost has no ass so people can't sit on it. lol JK.
I am willing to take the bumper support from under this guy tho.
Any pics of the drift so I can see if it will be easy to do starting with IT.
Thanks guys I appreciate the ideas.

im just saying....it shouldnt be that hard to do, even if youre not a pro. just get a rear and start messing around. not only is it fun, but its one of the best ways to learn.

off topic but does anyone know what wing that is on the drag cavi?
its very doable, but its a pain in the butt to make things like this, alot of time and effort goes into these things and if you have a good eye your efforts will pay off 10 fold, that bumper is alot like what i've been searching for because it still has some curves, its simple and flows well and its functional, i love it, the wing is also a one off peice, you can fab up one in aluminum and wrap it in fiberglass alot easier than producing one from scratch.
J~
DO IT! That rear is beautiful.
Fusor makes a structural adhesive that'll bond to urethane, fiberglass, steel. They have about 15 different types of glues. If you want just one and one only, lay out some foam blocks and use clay. Cut it, then glass over it. Voila, you have your bumper
Beat it like it owes you money
