its held on by 3M tape. comes off easy, but leaves a large hole for the heyhole.

or at least mine did on my 03, but the bowtie changed from 03 to 04

This will no longer be a problem soon.

The ugly and unneeded keyholes on the backs of our rides will soon be a thing of the past. I'll update this as soon as my new prototypes are ready, hopefully by the end of next week.

Michael, if you have an 04 or 05, you will need to heat the emblem up around the edges with a hairdryer or heat gun - let 'er rip - it will not harm your paint.

Once you heat the area up good, just pry it off - do NOT stick a screwdriver, etc in there - you will chip the emblem and possibly ruin your paint. If its hot enough, you can do this by hand, just be patient.

If you have an 03 - I think you can remove the silver trim with the bowtie shape on it, but I am not sure if its stuck on or screwed. Mine was destroyed in an accident right before my RK Sport CF bezel arrived (and I was able to collect the 500 bucks from the other guys' insurance company for the overpriced stock bezel, hehe).

Good Luck!

Steve
