Taking off the side moldings. Getting the glue off
Tuesday, April 12, 2005 7:57 AM
Me and my wife took off the side moldings last night and rna into a problem. We know goo gone works great for getting glue off, but not when the glue is like 1/8" thick. It seems like there is a mix of glue and foam that the goo gone jsut wont eat through. Any suggestions?

yup your right thats the double sided 3m tape...its foam with the sticky on it lol, you gotta rub rub rub with your thumb till your thumb falls off, sometimes it will roll as you rub an you get lucky, but keep workin at it, bbq fluid works good too lol...

Man that sucks, gonna take alot of rubbing. What if I heated it up real good with a hairdryer then used gone gone also. Think it would help?
