cavfire questions

Yes i searched, no i didnt get the answers i wanted lol, Ok so i can take the sunfires front fenders, hood, headlights and swap them onto my car no issues correct? i'm thinkin a nice 03 front end would be good since i love the new body kits anyway, now my questions are.... the headlights, how much of the wiring needs to be changed? I have a 98 so its still a 2 bulb headlight, should i just buy aftermarket parts, such as front bumper and hood? will this cause a problem fitting everything or will these parts literally drop right in? thanks in advance.

if you have a 98 cav, then the 03 fire lights will NOT need the different harness because they both use a two bulb system.

and the fronts of the cars, 95-05 all bolt directly up. its cheaper to swap, but looks better if its all aftermarket IMO.

if you need any more info, IM or email me

There will be no problems fitting everything unless your car has been in an accident. I did that exact swap as you can see in my sig with all aftermarket parts (besides for the hood.) You can use the fenders from any year sunfire. I just spliced in the headlight bulbs. They take H9 and H11 bulbs but with little modifications to the housings I got it to accept 9006 and 9007. Just get the right bulbs though.... It will all "drop right in." E-mail me if you have any more questions. <br>

ok so if i use the 95-99 headlights are they a single bulb system? if so what parts do i need to convert to make it work out right, i found a great deal on a pair of 99 headlights and some other pics have swayed my opinons so i decided to bring this one back up and get some more answers, thanks in advance.

95-99 cav headlights use a two bulb setup. so does a 03+ sunfire. you shouldn't have to change any of the wiring. if you want to convert to a 95-02 sunfire front end, you're gonna have to change your wiring since they use a single bulb setup.

i'm trying to get a set of stock fenders, an aftermarket bumper, and if i can find one decent a factory hood since i'm not a huge fan of fiberglass parts, steels easy to mod to , does anyone happen to know if i can simply swap a harness out for the factory headlight? and if so what part number am i lookin for? thanks in advance again.
